Sounds like some sort of malware.
Maybe something new and not in some anti virus definitions yet.

They have a paid for version with a few more bells and whistles but the free version will remove the bad guys. No need to purchase for removal of bad guys.
Back when I was on a forum where all we did was help people with adware and various viruses and trojans...this was our first go to program for removal.
Be sure and get the update before scanning as they update pretty much daily.
