I use the nasal pillows. I have had the most luck with putting the headgear below a ponytail, but it still rides up and just takes my ponytail with it during the night. I would rather not sleep with the ponytail if I could avoid it. As long as I'm just sitting and watching TV or reading, it is fine even without the ponytail. It's as soon as I lie down for the night then I have trouble. The pillows stay in my nose fine until the headgear pulls them out of my nares.

I really don't think I'm taking it off. I tried two different nasal masks and a full face mask and I pulled all those off within an hour of going to sleep after spending 30 - 45 minutes trying to get to sleep. I am keeping the CL2 on most of the night so maybe I should just leave it alone. I am thinking about getting either a Breeze or Swift. I got the ComfortLite 2 for free from the mask lady at my sleep center. It's been over six months since I got my first mask so I can get a new one from my DME and the insurance company will pay for most of it. I know my DME has the Swift in stock because I first tried it there. I didn't like it much because it pulled at my nose, but I bet I can play with the adjustments more and it will fit. I went with the CL2 because of its adjustability, but that was based on 5 minutes with the two in the office. If I just get the Swift with insurance, I won't be out much and if I don't like it, I can get new pillows for my CL2 from my sleep center.

Thanks for all the suggestiong! Any other suggestions or observations about the CL2 or other nasal pillow interfaces would be greatly appreciated!

CL 2 etc

Hi, I find that the CL2 IS comfortable BUT slips to the right on me, this makes the nasal pillows leak, so have been using the simple nose thing, which suprisingly is pretty good, but it's hard (for me) to get it to tuck in enough. All the adjustments are set as far in as possible and it still sits a bit far from my nose. Luckily the fitting on the "simple" is a ball type so it's easy to adjust it for extra "tuck in". I prefer not to have to add an extra tie. The masks are all made for larger heads than mine. Someone is using a "pad a cheek" type thing under the head piece for stability, as it doesn't seem to sit flat on the head, see recent posting mentioning Pad a Cheek, but for me this would maybe make the whole thing sit even further away from my nose.

Re. Swift, I find it REALLY blasts the air up your nose, more so than the Breeze or the CL2, and I also find the side straps very uncomfortable, they seems to angle in and really bite into my cheeks. I have added those foam toe protector things which help, the pillows are very comfortable though, & less hair squash than CL2. the other Swift problem is it's hard, for me, to sleep on the hose if I switch sides but then Sleepless in LI came up with an idea to move that further to the centre, altho" it didn't seem to help much for me. you cannot lie on your back in the Breeze and it sends a blast of air onto bedmate, but a pillow could block that. Maybe we should just work to make the CL2 "perfect". Or watch for Mike's posting update on the /www.hybridmask.com/ Good luck!

p.s. to last posting, how do you find the heavy swivel, I really need to do something about that, or maybe the company need to. I think is the major cause of it slipping.
