Graph Times PR System one

Post by lesfen » Tue Jan 21, 2014 5:56 pm

I am having problems with sleepyhead showing graphs properly. There are no times shown below each graph on the right and the graphs are often very distorted. So distorted that I can't the title of what each graph represents. The left pane is perfect, it is the big graphs on the right that are looking bad.

The pane on the left shows my sessions and the times of each session properly so I am guessing that there is a clock in the cpap and that it must be set right.

So, two questions....

1. Where is the clock on the PR system one and how does one set it..

2. Does anyone know why the graphs on the right don't show times and are distorted?

Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about...

There is no clock on the PR System one machines that you have access to..it's all internal.

For your SleepyHead report issues.
Try this
Go to Preferences...appearance tab...look for "use pixmap caching"......if unchecked put a check mark in the box and if checked..remove the check mark.
See if that helps.

If not...which SleepyHead version and build date are you using?

FANTASTIC!!! That fixed it. It is version 0.9.3-0 running on win8

So if there is no clock on the PR System, how does it know the times? It is showing the exact times that I start/stop each session, and now thanks to you, even the times on the graphs on the right. It must have a clock, just not user setable. All hardware clocks have drift and need to be set once in a while..

Respironics machines do have an internal clock powered by a little battery.
We as end users have no way to get to it. Adjusting the clock has to be done at the factory level as far as I know.
There is a little drift but in the grand scheme of things most DMEs or doctors don't really care if the times are not quite spot on.
They only look at hours of use and maybe AHI.
If you sleep 7 hours a night...it doesn't really matter (in the grand scheme of things) if the machine is a few minutes off on the clock.
I understand that people are bugged by the clock being off...but not much we can do about it. It's been that way ever since Respironic sold their first machine.
ResMed machines have a clock you can set...Respironics don't.

Though....with SleepyHead you can adjust the drift...
Go to Preferences..then cpap tab...and in the very upper right look for "clock drift"

Great.. it probably isn't off much anyway.. Kind of hard to tell unless I note the exact time I started or ended a session.

Is there any way to delete the previous owner's data. This is a fairly new machine with under 1000 hours but still has a few weeks of data that isn't mine that I would like to remove. I went into clinic mode and did a reset data but it didn't help.

You have to do the reset to zero therapy thing on the machine.
You also have to remove the prior users data files from the SD card...selective dates if you are good at it or I just erase the whole card and start fresh.
Then you need a new user profile in SleeyHead.
There's no way to remove the prior user's data from SleepyHead that I know of...purge feature doesn't work well.
