New Mask Recommendations

Post by TiredMomNY2 » Fri Jan 17, 2014 1:34 pm

Hi All,

I am due for new equipment. I currently use a WISP mask and it's pretty good. Much smaller than my last (also my first) mask.

My problem is the headgear. I guess I have a smallish head. All headgear is way big on me.

Any ladies out there who can recommend something they've liked? I'm willing to give anything a try. I do use a nasal mask. Haven't tried nasal pillows but would. Actually, I was sent home from my sleep study with nasal pillows and again, the headgear was so big that the straps touched near my eyes and annoyed me.

Thanks in advance for the help!!

Which nasal pillow mask had headgear that was too large? It would help to know because it would give us an idea just how small your head is.
The Optilife nasal pillow mask...yeah it is going to be big on just about everyone...the Swift FX nasal pillow mask...if that one is what you tried and it was too big then we need to evaluate sizing even more.

Try the aloha nasal pillow mask. It has very nice adjustable headgear! The nasal pillows are very comfortable too and I am a side sleeper. I have a smallish head I guess as the back straps on some that do not adjust - don't work for me at all.

Hope this helps,
