help with M series

Post by packer » Wed Jan 15, 2014 6:20 pm

Looking for help with my old M series-- want to use as a backup but has service required-
I went into menu and reset but it comes right back- wont run- immediate service required comes on screen

bought a new Aussie heated hose for the older series M- [ use PR1 for regular machine with heated hose- but hoses needed are different]

so-- now I have a new $100 hose for machine that won't work!!
dont know which way to go-- maybe craigslist and buy a PR1 or S9 for cheap???

any ideas from group? thanks from cold and snowy WI Packer

Any error code numbers???

Are you sure the problem is with the blower unit and not the humidifier unit?
Like have you tried to use it without humidifier attached just to see if it will work?

It likely is going to cost more to diagnose and fix than you could probably get a newer used machine for.

Thanks for fast reply-- just take humidifier off base and see what it does?

now it says service required soon as it turns on no code

So no error codes shown...only a message "service required soon"..
I thought the M series had error codes....

Does the machine turn on and appear to function or does the message seem to prevent it from even working at all?

Your Aussie hose should fit any machine, but I guess if you buy a new one that comes with a heated hose you could sell it to me.
