Thanks to Potsy and other developers for creating the sleepyhead data display program. Great stuff.
I have a resmed S9 machine, and was able to access the parameters, adjusting pressures, etc.
I was using a full face mask at 10cm but getting lots of lip flutter. According to the data display, the daily AHI ranged from 5 to 20. A week ago I switched from CPAP AND I also started using nasal pillows instead of the the full face mask.
Now my daily AHI is less than 0.5
Can that be true?
BTW, what is the legend for decoding the colors in the stacked bar graphs shown in the Overview tab?

Re: CPAP and APAP
Yes: but I suspect that you have not obtained enough data for an extended period of time in order to confirm this result for you. Some folks can experience a significant change from switching from the cpap mode to autopap mode and vise versa. When I switch to cpap mode, I find I feel better during the day though my "numbers" do not indicate this and they stay about the same. There was a similar discussion on this forum this week and some folks stated that they feel better using the autopap mode. I have often encouraged over the years to alternate for each therapy to see if their body responds in a more positive way either by a significant change in their "numbers", they way the "feel" or both. We owe it to ourselves. The answer to your question is yes, but give each form of therapy enough time to accurately come to a particular conclusion. Again, this is a long, long journey... you owe to yourself.... don't hesitate to tweak your therapy to achieve the maximum results.
By the way... I like "Potsy", too
