HEYYYYYY AABBBBBBOOOOOTTTTTTT - well actually Hey Pugsy

I have a question (maybe two questions) about the Tap Pap.
1) Is the Nasal Pillow the same as the Switft FX pillow?
2) if 1 is no, Are the sizes comparable? I use a Swift FX Medium.

I am planning on getting a new mask. I read how much you like the Tap Pap. While I have nothing against my Swift, the thought if having no head gear is appealing (last night my velcro let go and I awoke to a hurricane in my face ). I am wondering what sort of re-adjustment I will need.

Nope... I have both. The only one that is okay in a >pinch> is the Respcare Hybrid.. it leaks somewhat but will work.
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I know Pugsy is still on the mend and here is a question I am qualified to answer!

I use the TapPap as well and unfortunately the pillows do not transfer between masks. The nasal pillows for the tap Pap are singular, separate from each other.

I found that the Tap Pap nasal pillow sizing seemed to run small when compared to the other nasal pillow type of masks.
The biggest part of it is the lack of large rim to rest against the nostril when using the Tap Pap.
That rim allows for a lot of forgiveness when it comes to fitting.
So with pretty much any of the other nasal pillow masks I can get by with sizes of XSmall..to Small and even Medium..with the Tap Pap I need a medium. I can make do with the Small in the Tap Pap but the fit isn't nearly so much a "no brainer" fit.

For me the greatest adjustment to the Tap Pap was the mouth guard and not anything related to the nasal pillows but then remember...I have experimented with lots of nasal pillow type of masks over the past 4 years.
Success or failure has always depended more on something else than just the nasal pillow itself.

Thank you all! I suspect I will be using the medium pillows. I'll let you all know how it goes.
