Remaster With Resmed Mask

Post by WDP » Thu Jan 09, 2014 11:48 am

Hi Everyone. I am brand new to the forum and haven't been through the new user yet but will do later today. I have a Remaster Auto A-Flex and a ResMed Quattro full face mask. The Quatttro vents a lot of air through the vents in front and fits perfect. My Remaster thinks there is a Large Leak. The manual says to enter the number of your Respironics mask in SYSTEM ONE resistance setting and it will adjust the amount of relief based on the specific Respronics mask. It is currently at 1X.
My question is since I have a Resmed mask with no number rather than a Respironics mask what value should I put there? Could this by why the Remaster "thinks" there is a large leak. Thanks to all who respond.

Don't have those, so can't comment, but for future use when looking things up, what you have is Remstar, not Remaster...

Set the "Mask Resistance" to "0" (Zero) for non-P/R masks (like your Quattro).

And, yes, the model of your machine is "REMstar".......NOT Remaster.

And, No, it has nothing to do with reporting Large Leaks........you're having LARGE LEAKS.
