promising results for alternative therapy

I wouldn't be interested in this because I have success with my machine and mask, and because I use my machine diligently, I have no problems with post-nasal drip, sore throats, bronchitis, etc. Even if this therapy worked, I would still want to use my machine so that my nasal passages would be clear and healthy. I lost my excess weight without surgery, and I'll treat my apnea without surgery.

I wouldn't immediately dismiss it if it could get my AHI to close to zero or allow me to reduce the pressure. It would also be helpful when traveling to be able to leave the CPAP behind. It looks like it may work for me - AHI of 31 at my first sleep study, but not for people with a base AHI much higher than that. It will be interesting to see how much it costs, and whether insurance companies will cover it.

Thank you for posting this Bill44133. The more alternatives people have, the better since not everyone can tolerate pap therapy in spite of their best efforts.
