Start tonight

Post by kcellwood » Wed Jan 08, 2014 1:36 pm

Wanted to thank everyone on this board for the input and advice. My equipment arrived today and I got some very good equipment. Had it not been for this board I would have been stuck with a brick by my first DME. Armed with the knowledge I received here I ended up "firing" my first DME and moved on. Excited to see how this works out.

Sleepyhead is loaded and just waiting for the data from the first night.....

Wishing you sweet dreams! Let us know how it goes. Watch some tv with it on first, though, helps a lot.

Your profile says you have a "Plus". It is a series 60 machine but the "Plus" , in any of the PR System One machines, will only give you compliance data (how many hours you used the machine.

You need a "Pro" or and "Auto" to get more that just how long you used the machine.

Hopefully you picked the wrong one for your profile and you do have a Pro or an Auto. I hope so!

If you do have the "Plus" maybe you can exchange it since you just got it.

I have lent my machine to my oldest son as well, becoming the first night tonight. I have tried to convince him that he needs to seek medical attention for his daytime sleepiness. Perhaps it will be easier if a printout from Sleepyhead shows a number of breathing pauses.

Must have picked the wrong one. It is a model 560 I know that for sure. I was only home long enough for the DME to explain the machine to me then headed back to work. I did see the model number on the bottom of the machine and the paper work also says that. Is this one in my signature correct now?

The model number 560 means it is the latest model but all PR System One's have a "Plus" a "Pro" and an "Auto". To get any data except how long you used it, you need a "Pro" or an "Auto".

Your signature now just mentions mask the humidifier, not the machine.

Does the machine and/or the paperwork say "Pro" Or "Auto" as well. The machine should say "Remstar Auto" on above the display.

If he has a 560, he has an auto. 260 is plus and 460 pro

Sorry. I was just going by the fact that the OP said, in their profile - originally, that it was "Plus". That sent up a red flag for me if the OP wants detailed data.

If it is a "560" I guess all is well.

I've confirmed it is an Auto Model 560. Minor detail I forgot about today. I need to go get me an SD card reader now.
Wish there was a way to tap into the modem.......

I'm glad! I'm sorry I may have caused some confusion. When you put the "Plus" machine in your original profile, I was concerned that you wouldn't get data. I didn't take note of the number.

All the best! Keep us posted as to how things go.
