Mask for Stomach Sleeper?

Post by newpapper » Wed Jan 08, 2014 8:17 am

Hello,
I am new to this forum. It looks like there are a lot of good people with good help here.
I had my first sleep study last month and had an AHI of 27.1 (mostly hypopneas, no centrals). Also diagnosed with hypoxia.
I started out on my side and slept mostly on my stomach with my head turned sideways. I never sleep on my back.
I am scheduled for titration next week so I don't have any equipment yet.
Anybody know of, or uses a mask that works for stomach sleeping, or will I need to change how I sleep?
Also I had no stage 3 sleep. Can CPAP reestablish stage 3?
Thanks!

Sleepweaver masks are cloth so they work very well for stomach sleepers.

I also am new, but I have found that the Swift FX nasal pillows allow me to sleep just about any way I choose. I sleep a little on my side, some on my back, and even on my belly with this mask. I barely have to mess with it at all when I switch positions.

Thanks for your quick reply Stormynights. I'll look into Sleepweaver masks.

Thank you also Czb1962. I'm glad the Swift FX works well for you. I'll check it out too.
