Mouth noise

Post by Katie50 » Mon Dec 30, 2013 10:33 pm

My husband sleeps with a cpap comfort gel mask and at times he. Makes this noise that sounds like a horse whinning(best way to describe it). He has had the soft pallate reduction. It keeps me awake. Any suggestions on this

I wonder if it is registering as a snore, that might be resolved with a bit more pressure? If we knew some information from the CPAP itself it might help. The make & model number is a place to start. How long has he had the CPAP? Is the sound new or new with this mask, but not before?
