piggy nose with Tap Pap
Just when you think you've found the right mask… waaaah, piggy nose is happening with my Tap Pap. The nose cones or whatever you call 'em are probably being pushed in a bit more than necessary, but the mouthguard device cannot be adjusted any farther - the nose cones are right on top of it. I do have a long nose, but I am sure there are people with longer noses. (Like my sister.) Do others have this problem? Is there some clever fix for it? I could put a clothespin on my nose for an hour after I wake up, maybe that would put my nostrils back where they were.

Re: piggy nose with Tap Pap
I just took a look at mine - the "down piece" is finely tuned, so I don't think there is anything much you could do to extend the reach without risking breaking it. I also wondered whether you could fit the mouthpiece to your lower jaw rather than your upper - hopefully you don't open your mouth during the night, because that would definitely give you a large leak! Also, you would lose some of the adaptability of the mouthpiece because it is not designed to be reversed. Other than that, the only suggestion would be to try contacting the manufacturers to see if they can come up with a way to accommodate your needs - who knows, if enough people ask, maybe they would redesign that part of the device? They did redesign the silicone piece shortly after the launch (although I am still using the old version, after the new one failed to handle several re-adjustments!).
I would love to see a version with a lower mouth-piece (as well as the top piece), because that would help prevent the bruxism that is probably causing at least some arousals during the night. I would like to try my SilentNite again to test that theory, but I would not be able to use my TapPap. As you said, waaaaah!
Good luck!
