sleeyhead - PS1 - only partial flow graph - x.005 and x.0p5

Post by pbriggs » Fri Dec 13, 2013 8:42 am

Hello Everyone,
Last night my data is very strange. I have leak graph and pressure graph for the entire night - it even shows events for the entire night - but the flow graph and the rest of the graphs only show part of the night. I did notice that I have 2 files that were create (actually 4 for the night, but 2 with x.xxx5) there is one file x.0p5 that was created at 1:07am and a file x.005 that was created at 4:42 am, the same time as the x.001 and x.002 files. So, sleepyhead is only reading the x.005 file - I assume the missing data is in the x.0p5 file. The time stamps do not align with the data in sleepyhead, but it was a 7 hour night and the first file is about 1/2 of the night and I see about 1/2 of the data, so it appears to be accurate

Any thought on:
1. how to get this data to show
2. why the machine did this in the first place to prevent it from doing it again.
This is a first for me..
thanks! Paul

Never heard of this x.0p5 file..

First...do you have Encore software so we can check to see if this is a SH specific problem or something that Encore also has a problem with?

no, I only have sleepyhead - I did "play" with the data a bit

when I renamed the x.0p5 to x.005 (I also renamed the original x.005 file to x.0a5 just to keep it) I had the flow graph for the first half of the night. The original x.005 has the second half of the night. Now only to find a way to put the two back together...

Did you wake up and turn the machine off at the time of the new file? Or did the machine do it all on it's own?
Do you want Encore? If you do...what is the Windows OS on your computer?

it might be interesting to compare - I am running windows 7 -64 bit currently.

I am not 100% sure - I live in the USA but am currently in Germany and as such I sleep like the dead with the time difference, only been here a few days and fly home tomorrow - so there could have been a power blip, I don't have my surge protector here.

also interesting is that I used the machine on the flight over - I left at 6:30pm from Detroit on Delta in business class and landed at 7:30am Germany time - got 4 hours out of the machine plunged into the seat - was very nice

You know it could just be a weird blip in the S1 itself and there may not be anyway to fix it in SH or prevent it...the 60 series machines and file structure is buggy in SH...

Would be interesting to know what Encore does with the file though.
Check your PMs in just a bit and I will send you something that will work with your computer.
