ResMed Escape II - Water Chamber

Post by onthunter » Fri Apr 16, 2010 11:08 am

I have a ResMed Escape II - water chamber which is the standard chamber. This is the second chamber that has leaked. The bottom (three plastic tabs) has come apart and it leaks. I live in Canada and am paying a fortune for Resmed parts coming from the USA. How long are these things suppose to last and is it typical for these things to leak like this ?

I am going to have to get another one. In the meantime, is there anyway to temporarily repair it, say by using some silicon caulking on the bottom ? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you register and post your equipment list...

There are ResMed supplies available in a number of ways.
Being in Canada doesn't have to be a "bad thing"... the loonie's going up...

One thing you can do as a temporary fix is to us 4 or 5 heavy duty gum bands rapped around the back part of the chamber to prevent the bottom plate from leaking. It worked for me as a temp fix till you can get new parts. b/regards Jim
