Minolta Pulsox-3si Oximeter

Post by sleepinglass » Fri Nov 29, 2013 5:59 am

Just found my Minolta Pulsox-3si oximeter and I am just wondering can anybody tell me if it can be linked to either the Encore basic or Sleepyhead? It is quite an old oximeter so maybe it is not possible.

I am often waking up with my heart racing wildly and headaches on my auto sv so not sure what is happening,so I shall try sleeping with my oximeter for more info.

Are you following your therapy with software? What do your results look like - what's going on at the times you have symptoms?

Hi Julie,I am following sleep data with software both SH and Encore however nothing shows up as far as I can see and my AHI is 1.7 so really low.

However I wake up not feeling good at all and I have never woken up with headaches over the many years I have been on on various xpap therapies.I woke up after only 5 hours sleep with my heart beating like mad. So I just got up not feeling very rested at all.

SleepyHead won't work with that pulse ox, neither will Encore but if you have the software that shows what it gathers...you would still have the same data.

SleepyHead only works with the CMS overnight recording pulse oximeters and when it does work it just imports the results from the software that shows the data gathered.
If you have the software..you still have the data available. Seeing it in SleepyHead doesn't change the data..just makes it a bit more of a convenience.
