Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
Good morning.
When I looked at Sleepyhead this morning, it is showing the wrong data for my pressure settings. I've been using Sleepyhead for months, and have not seen this problem before today. It shows an average pressure of 5.8, which is impossible because my minimum pressure setting is much higher. I loaded my data into Encore Viewer, and the correct pressure readings are shown. (so the problem isn't with the data)
The incorrect pressure is shown on the Statistics tab, for most recent day. I also have an incorrect pressure graph when I view the Daily tab.
I've tried deleting the data for today (was going to reload it) but when I try this, Sleepyhead throws an error and shuts down.
Anyone encountered this before?

Re: Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
Which version of SleepyHead are you using?
Try this...go to Preferences...Appearance tab and remove check mark from "use pixmap caching"...close SH, restart...see if that fixes the problem
Trying to remove specific days of data by purging is buggy..causes more trouble than it is worth and won't fix the issue.
Software can just be buggy sometimes. I have 2 nights in August where both my EncoreBasic and Encore Pro says I didn't use the machine....and I most definitely did and have it showing on SH for both nights.
So even the "official" software acts up occasionally.

Re: Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
I'm using 0.9.3 dated May 18. Pixmap caching was already unchecked. I purged all the data and reloaded, and it shows the same issue.
Thinking back, I may have seen this happen with the pressure data being wrong once before. I could look back through all my graphs, but don't want to spend that much time on it. Ah well...not the end of the world.
Thank you Pugsy!

Re: Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
Sometimes there are no answers to software bugs.
Like you say..not the end of the world.
The statistics page in SH...full of bugs it seems...to the point that I don't pay much attention to it anyway.
When it comes right down to it...I just look at last night's data (when I look) and if it is okay...I have no need to look at anything else anyway and no need to ever look back.
But I understand newbies and their desire to put everything under the microscope. I did that myself when I first started therapy.
If you like to fiddle with software you might try the new unstable build 9.4....doesn't have an installer so you have to do the old application.exe short cut thing to run it. I know Mark has been trying to sort out those statistics bugs but it's hard especially when they are so random.
There's no reason why you can't have both 9.3 and 9.4 on your computer at the same time. That's what I am doing...but my statistics page still isn't quite right in terms of settings on my machine...it says my PS is 10 and it's 4...go figure....but the daily graphs are correct and that's all that really matters to me anyway.

Re: Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
The thing that jumped out at me was the wonky daily pressure graph. I don't normally look at it, but it had displayed oddly and caught my eye. I am still in the habit of looking at my events every day or two.

Hi Foggy1,
What model number is your machine?
I've got a list of fun stuff to fix in the PRS1 importer, particular with the x60 series models..

Re: Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
My statistics for the S9Vpap Auto shows 10.4-12.4,PS is correct at 3. Correct settings should be 10/15/PS=3, Auto Bilevel. The record page has the same Best and Worst numbers of 10.4-12.4 PS=2. The best/worst AHIs seem correct. The Daily Graphs are fine!

Re: Sleepyhead displaying incorrect data
Thought so.. 60 series support is still a little rough..
The 60 series patch was inserted a while ago without me really having a chance to investigate it thoroughly.. At the time I was a complete and total zombie and was (and still am) very grateful for the code update.
I've got a list of fixes mapped out for it now I have a better idea how the 60 series data is different, and I'm just waiting for a day with a clear head to tackle them all.
