Thx everyone. John you seem to understand. My machine is the Respironics auto sv bipap model 960. I would like to know how and what software I can use to read the data for my machine. I have a computer for the sd slot. Also my sleep doctor gave me a nasal mask last week. I stated out using the full face mask mirage quattro, it leaks alot. It seems that the nasal mask works better. I slept better, even though it was not the right size.I took a head band and used as a chin strap. I breath thru my nose during the day.But I think at night my mouth opens.Does it make since for the nasal mask to work better? I don't know. I am just experimenting.

Join the club. The key is to experiment and find what works for YOU.

Pugsy is the best source for the software. SleepyHead does NOT read the data from these units - yet.

Your computer may or may not be able to handle the SD card. If you put it in and it does not mount correctly (and you can not see anything on it), then it's probably JUST an SD card slot. The SD cards on these units are SDHC cards (SD High Capacity). You can purchase an inexpensive (under $30) SDXC card reader that can also read SD and SDHC cards.

Again, you need to find what works for you. There is no one right answer. I use a Resemed Quattro FX full face mask and mask liners. That seems to keep the leaks in check and helps because my mouth invariably hangs open. I guess I'm trying to get a little extra protein (flies) while I sleep! .. Yuck! .. For me a nasal mask - even nasal pillows just would not work. But it might be just the ticket for you. The thing is to hang in there and experiment until you find the right answer for you .. right now. In the future it might change. That often happens. As we age our needs change. Be flexible and adjust to make certain the therapy is effective.

Hope that helps.

Thx. I spoke to the doctor today. He is ordering the wisp mask. It comes in different sizes in the package. Also he is ordering the ruby red chin strap. This is difinitely an experiment. I hope it works. I am so tired of not sleeping. But I will keep trying different things. I get so much info on the forum. Thx to you all.

Pugsy thx for the info on the software.

Don't give up! I have the SAME machine that you do. It's a really great machine and I bet with time and trial and error(hopefully not too much error) you'll start feeling better

I won t give up. I have not been sleeping for the past 20 yrs. I am determined to help myself. I am having residual sleepiness. It makes me feel sleepy and tired. After being up abt 5 house I start feeling sleepy and tired. I sleep longer than i used to sleep in the past, but I wish this sleepiness would leave. Anyone have any suggestions. I am not into taking medications.

You have a PR S1 model 960 machine and your SleepyHead numbers are totally whacko. They can't be trusted.
You are going to have to use Encore Pro 2.12 to get accurate numbers from the software. Right now SLeepyHead is not yet compatible with the model machine that you have.
Pro is a PITA to use but it is your only choice for software right now.
Did I send you the information on Pro 2.12? I forget.

Check your PM box. I sent you some information on Pro 2.12. PITA to use but you don't have much choice right now.
