Have you ever bought from SecondWindCPAP.com

Post by ianyer » Wed Nov 13, 2013 8:45 am

I am looking for a new machine and just recently became aware of secondwindcpap.com. While their prices are obviously good, I am unsure about buying a used machine. I would appreciate if anyone on this forum who has bought from secondwind can give me some advice. I'd like to know what your experince was with secondwind. Was the machine you bought to your satisfaction? Did you have any issues with the equipment? Did secondwind honor their warranty?

Any advice you can offer is appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

It's a terrific site, many of us have used it and if you do a forum 'search' of it by name you'll see loads of info.

If I had no insurance, they would be my next choice after our hosts.
I prefer new when I can afford it, but all their used units are thoroughly cleaned and reconditioned;
and many units are new, but from/with opened boxes.

I appreciate the responses and I have searched secondwind in the forum. What I have found is information similar to what you have stated but very little in the way or any experience with purchases. I would appreciate hearing from people who have actually purchased from the site and what their experience and satisfaction level was. Thanks.

I have purchased from them.. First class operation. No problems with what I purchased.
It was a used humidifier for the PR S1. Came with a brand new plastic tank and looked brand new...inside and out. Shipped promptly.
I know one person who bought a machine and had warranty issues. Not sure if she is hanging around the forum lately but I know she got the issues resolved easily and totally to her satisfaction. I never knew what the problem with the machine was but they replaced it without a hassle.

I know of several people who have bought a machine and humidifier from them and were totally happy and had no issues with the equipment at all. Couple of them were international buyers. If I were in the market for a used machine and they had what I wanted, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them

I bought early this year from secondwindcpap.com. I bought an S9 VPAP Auto, open box, zero hour machine. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. My doctor's office lost my prescription and Mark (at secondwind) held that machine aside for me for over two weeks while my doctor's office was bumbling around looking for the Rx. The machine was indeed brand new, zero hours, and I have not had any problem with it. Because it was a new machine I also got the full warranty that new machines come with.

I bought my machine on Craigslist but the seller didn't have a humidifier for it. I ordered a used humidifier from Secondwind and they shipped me a brand new unit very quickly. I would certainly buy from them again.

Didn't just purchase from then, imported to UK from them

customer service (via email) first class, communication first class, and kit as described

a great thumbs up to them from England, they allowed me to treat myself successfully where the NHS failed

I have purchased both New & used machines off SWCpap & have found Mark Seager (Owner) to be an absolute gentleman to do business with

BTW I'm in Australia
