Suggestions for Full Face mask that doesn't leak...

Post by justanotherthing » Tue Nov 12, 2013 1:06 pm

Hi all,
I have had my machine 5 months, all is going well, my sleep has improved, and my energy, too!

Anyway, i have had to change the way i sleep because of a back problem, now sleeping full time on my back, and my Mirage Quattro is leaking like a sieve!
I have tried adjusting loose and tight (so tight i got a headache).

Any suggestion on a different mask, or how to get this one to work???

Try reading this, it might help:

Also note, that the cushion can and should be changed when the silicone is too old to work properly.

Maybe the problem is your bed pillow.
A number of pillows have been designed for (or work better with) this therapy than "standard" fiberfill pillows.

I had been using the Chiroflow (also known as Mediflow) water-based pillow long before I started this therapy and it has worked very well with this therapy. I can adjust the height of the pillow by adjusting the amount of water in it and my head doesn't sink into it.......which doesn't skew the mask alignment, so there is less leakage.

padacheek.com has an anti-leak strap for the Quattro and also mask liners. Either of these items may stop your leaks.

+1 for the recommendation for pad a cheek liners. I'd be lost without them
