How to change directories with EncoreViewer 2.0

Post by rubatoguy » Wed Nov 06, 2013 1:43 am

I have encore Viewer 2.0 and when I try to import data, it says that the media does not contain any data - but it does not seem to let you specify where the program looks for data.
Is there a way to tell the program where to look for the data? I need for it to look on drive G:
There is nowhere in the options that I can see where to set the directory for the data.

Thanks,
Todd

Hi rubatoguy,

Encore software looks for a card, and as I remember it does not accept files sitting on the C drive. I did get Encore to find the P-Series file on a USB "jump drive" though. I didn't have to tell it to look there, it just found it. You might see if that works on your set-up.

rubatoguy,

When I need to download my data into Encore, I have to do this:

1) Open Encore

2) Insert the SD into the slot

3) Ask Encore to download the data.

Encore will go looking for the SD card in an SD card slot or in an SD card reader hooked in through a USB port. If you have more than one USB port, you might try changing the USB port.

Also, the humidifier you have selected for your CPAP machine is for a very, very old Respironics REMstar CPAP that is two or three generations back. It was discontinued about 6 years ago, if I recall. If you are having trouble figuring out which of the REMstars you are actually using, please see my Newbie Guide to Respiroinics Machines. If the link for your machine doesn't work, add it to the "additional comments" field in your user profile.

No way that I have ever been able to figure out with any of the Encore software products. It either finds the media or it doesn't.

What machine are you using and which type of data holding format are you using?
The only equipment I see in your profile is a Respironics humidifier that was discontinued somewhere around 2007 when the M series machines were introduced.
Yet you joined the forum in 2010 when the PR system One machines were being released.
So are you using a SD card with a PR System One? Or a Smart Card with a much older machine requiring a DT3500 Infineer card reader?
