Sleep docs and sleep studies for the uninsured

Post by Buddhist Sage » Mon Oct 28, 2013 8:17 pm

Hello, a good friend of mine is having difficulty sleeping. She keeps complaining how she falls alseep and wakes up 3-4 times in a single night. I fear for here because it's not funny having insomnia. She's not insured. We're from NYC does anyone know of ways to get a sleep study done for those with financial difficulties?

The first place I would look is the needy meds list of free clinics by state. This would help you eliminate other possible causes for these sleep issues and give you a source for a prescription for an auto CPAP machine which can be acquired used for a reasonable price.
