Semi-OT: Monthly Rant

Post by DiverCTHunter » Mon Oct 28, 2013 3:20 pm

My surgeon's office is officially driving me nuts.

Apparently, they have a separate "Patient Care Representative" and HIM Assistant assigned to each surgeon. God help you if either one is not there, because no one else in the office will.

It took almost a week to get the "care rep" to give me a surgery date, and she still won't call me back with a time, even though I'm scheduled to be cut on Thursday.

The HIM assistant has been dragging her feet on my FMLA papers, and I still haven't had any presurgical instructions.

In other news, my ex-DME installed one of those obnoxious autodialers to "ask" (forcibly remind) me to order replacement supplies. Of course, the damned thing won't let me unsubscribe, and the business office twits were part of the reason why I fired them.

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!
When in doubt, open the case. Remember: If you can't open it, you don't own it!

Prescribed APAP range - 6-10 cm/H2O, titrated at 8.
Current range - 9.0-11.5 cm/H2O - still searching for the magic "zero night" but averaging 2.2 AHI
