I have a day where the mis-reported AHI is 20,000. This messes with the y axis in Sleephead as you can imagine.
I deleted SH and its profiles and discarded the data. I used a new SD card, installed the latest version of SH and created a new profile. I put the fresh SD into the PR-1 to get a re-build of the data onto the card and then loaded into the new profile.
No change. This leads me to think that the PR-1 source data is corrupt. Previously it was not and why this might be I have no idea.
So if the PR-1 source data is bad, can I tell SH to ignore a day or can I force the AHI plots to use a zero to 20 value range. With the 20,000 AHI day in the mix, normal days are virtually invisible in the plot.
This is not the end of the world, but it is annoying. Do we know how to reformat the PR-1 internal memory? I know that sounds drastic but in the long run who cares. The DME has compliance data on file. And I start rebuilding a compliance history after a PR-1 reformat. Must happen if machines croak and they do on occasion.
TIA
Vince
Delete or Ignore a Single Day in Sleephead
Re: Delete or Ignore a Single Day in Sleephead
First, choose the "Daily" view. Then in the left pane, scroll down until you find "Session Information". Click on the colored bar in the "On" column. If you have multiple files for a day, they will appear in the Session Information section.

You would need to also use EncoreBasic software to confirm if the questionable AH date is also present shown in Encore software.Chilibit wrote:No change. This leads me to think that the PR-1 source data is corrupt. Previously it was not and why this might be I have no idea.
I really doubt that the PR S1 is the problem.
The problem most likely is the SleepyHead software as it is sometimes buggy especially with the 60 series machines.
Whatever data the PR S1 keeps putting on the SD card...SleepyHead will keep finding the same file and interpreting it the same.
Use EncoreBasic to make sure it isn't showing whacko data for that date. I am betting data will be fine in Encore.
Easiest way to get the AHI axis corrected in SleepyHead is just turn off the entire session(s) for the day in question.
It will then show up as simply a zero data night.
That's the only thing I know to do. We could omit the offending file from the SD card but each time the SD card gets put back in the PR S1 the machine will just put it back on the SD card.
Do you have EncoreBasic? If not send me a PM and I will point you to some information on where to get it.
EncoreBasic is Windows only software though...no Mac version if that is what you are using.
You aren't the only person to have SleepyHead report the AHI in the thousands...others have but Encore software didn't reflect/confirm the problem. It's a SleepyHead issue and known to Mark. Hopefully the up coming new version will have that bug fixed.

Re: Delete or Ignore a Single Day in Sleephead
Firstly, thanks.
I went to the problematic day, then the daily view and then to sessions. It shows a short session and if you click the bar with green it repaints the screen, says all sessions are off and the rotating "no data" cube appears. Somewhat contradictory. Session seems off but the 20k bar on Overview remains. I could not find a way to turn it on and then back off to see if that would help.
Pugsy, I will send you a PM. I suspect you are right about a bug though that does not diminish my respect for our Aussie friend who is doing all the work.
Thanks.
