After fighting this cpap machine, primarily the fullface mask issue, I decided to try the Ultimate Chinstrap. I have to admit I had seen it numerous times before and decided it looked ridiculous . Well... I finally caved in and ordered one. I have been unable to find a full face mask that wouldnt leak and settled on Swift FX nasel pillow mask, but have had bad time with swallowing air. At times it can be painful and uncomfortable and always embarrassing as the air exits my lower extremities.
I've been using this chinstrap for the last 6days and my air swallowing has diminished about 75 to 85%
At first I found it to be a little claustrophobic, but I have since gotten use to it. I now sleep 4-5 hours without getting up .
My trips to the bathroom, nocturnally, have dropped to only once or some nights, none. My dry mouth has gone away as well. It is a great alternative to taping your mouth. If you have problems swallowing air, dry mouth, or can't stop opening your moth with a nasel mask, give this a try.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
