newbie question

Hi
My doctor called me today and revealed the results of the sleep study I had done a couple of weeks ago. The only number he said was something like 27 an hour.

I now need to go for another sleep study with the machine.

Looking at this forum, which seems like a wonderful resource, I see many different types of machines and configurations almost to the point that its overwhelming.

I am into gadgetry and readings and stuff, and i tend to sleep on my stomach.

I would like to know if there is a certain machine I should ask my tech about rather than getting stuck with some stock machine when there might be something more comfortable/more complex that I would desire after I know more about the options out there....
Thanks

Welcome to the world of pap!
You will certainly learn everything that you need to know here at this site!
As far as which machine is better for stomach sleepers, I don't think the machine matters but rather the selected mask. If you do not need a full face mack (usually ordered because of mouth breathing issues) then maybe you could try an Aura. You can almost bury your face in a pillow and the Aura still works great!
