Paper tape leads to lip spot?

Post by newguy » Mon Jun 12, 2006 1:57 pm

Am a mouthbreather. Tried the polygrip strips, but didn't like the goo in the morning. Tried to find the gentle micropore tape people have recommended, but nothing local, so just picked up some "paper tape". That worked nicely for several days, and greatly decreased the number of times I woke up overnight and also decreased my morning dry mouth. But, this morning I see in the mirror that I have some kind of red spot (burst blood vessel?) on my lip extending below it a little, only an eighth of an inch in diameter. Looks like it will go away, but wonder if others have experienced this with tape? Maybe I'd better order the right tape online!

Here is how I do it.

Even if just taking a 3-minute nap I use this procedure. After four months the procedure has become quite routine and easy for me.

Good luck and let us know if something different works for you.
