Need software for the S9 Elite with oximeter

Post by sleepy1235 » Sat Jul 27, 2013 8:53 am

I have a S9 Elite with an oximeter. My PC is Windows 7.

Where can I get software?

This is the question for which i joined this site.

Thanks.

sleepy1235, I see you asked about software in July. Since you have posted here and on other forums about many issues and indicate you haven't installed either Sleepyhead or Encore Basic, do you need help installing these and looking at your data? There is plenty of help here if you do. You may even want to print out some of your results and take it to your new sleep doc. Just a suggestion..

Sleepy1235's signature shows he has an S9 Elite.

So he needs ResScan or SleepyHead. Encore won't work with his machine.

are you talking about reading a cheap $100 Pulse Oximeter data or a dedicated S9 Oximetry Complete Kit # 369100 to go with Resmed S9 line and to be read with ResScan software which costs $875? If you are ready to spend this amount of money then you would have the best choice.

See here ResScan Oximetry Complete Kit # 369100:

he has said on this and other forums that he needs software for two months now but he said in a recent post that he still had not started using software. since he has many complaints i was wondering if he needs help with it. maybe he would feel less hostile towards the medical establishment if he felt involved in his own care, and would feel less hostile towards others if he could see whether his cpap is working, etc. he says his AHI is low but he wakes up too early, etc. he says he is an engineer so i would think he would be interested in looking at his data. i do know he is not going to get much help if he continues being so hostile.

WTF are you talking about? Relax. I was NOT commenting on your post. In fact, I usually ignore your posts for obvious reasons.

You are a very generous person Oak to offer this help after all the hostility that was expressed by Sleepy 1235 yesterday.

Well, I figure there is usually a reason for misplaced hostility. Apnea frequently affects a person's state of mind, I can see that now with myself and others.
