I'm getting this MyEncore error message when I try to launch the program: "Failed to load resources from resource file. Please check your setup."
Here's where I am:
- Installed Encore Pro 1.5i.
- Installed Card Reader.
- Changed "auto erase" feature in Encore Pro.
- Successfully imported my data into Encore Pro.
- Installed MyEncore 1.5b7.
- MSSQL Server is installed and running.
- MS .net framework 1.1 is already installed.
- Attempted to launch MyEncore, but immediately received the error message described above.
Frustration level is a tad high at the moment. Can anyone see a possible flaw in what I've done so far? Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!
Don

Don,
Read this post. LittleRedtruck was getting the same error message you are. Perhaps the suggested solution helped. Or, you might PM him to see if he ever got up and running.

And here is a post from Derek (last fall) regarding this same message. Check and make sure that there is valid data in Encore Pro.
Good people,
The most common cause for this problem is that there is no valid data in the Encore Pro database when you try to run MyEncore. Make sure that you have done a valid download from the card to Encore Pro, and try again....
PLEASE, let me know what happens...
Regards,
Derek

EncorePro is the "main" program, it should run by itself or work stand-alone from MyEncore which is just another "front-end" interface to the EncorePro's database which is MS Desktop Engine. You should have a Green arrow on the MSSQL lower right, it starts from the link in Startup.
Once you have everything installed and database running (green arrow on task bar), CREATE a patient profile (0001) for yourself using only the EncorePro software. When you prepare or read from your card you FIRST open up EncorePro, double-click on your profile then read the card.
Once you have EncorePro reading and writing data, then you can use the MyEncore to create different looking reports using the same data, that is all the MyEncore does.
If your not getting a Green arrow showing the database running, then you need to check Services to see if it is running and any passwords for the database. Both the EncorePro database password and the MyEncore password need to match. If you have not input a password for the database, you need to create one (you should have been asked for one during installation of EncorePro). MyEncore has a tab for putting in the matching password.

Guest, that is true. But if you select the middle box in "secure the server", then you don't have to use a password. I did that, and both programs work fine for me.
