APAP to CPAP settings . . .

Post by hobbs » Sat Aug 31, 2013 4:48 pm

Opinions on what CPAP pressure to use and if it would even make a difference? I understand the S8 shows higher than the new S9, anyone have experience with both?
60 continuous days of use of a Resmed S8 Autoset II set at 10.6-11.8
Pressure 10.6 11.1 11.6
Leak 24.0 13.2 30.0
AHI 0.0 3.5 3.5

According to those numbers, a straight CPAP setting of 10 or 11 should give you some decent therapy. I'd say try one and see if you need to adjust after a week or so.
