This was from last night, my first time having mask on 8 hours. I slept most of it, don't remember any dreams. Fidgeted with straps a lot to stop leaks.

Ellen,

I remember in a previous thread you mentioned that you were taking steps to ensure that you sleep on your side and not on your back. Is that working out or could you possibly be doing some supine sleeping?

Just wondering if this data reflects side sleeping...

I go to sleep on my side and wake up that way, but I sleep alone so I don't know if I roll on my back. I put two pillows in front of my chest and drape my arm over. Perhaps I should put them behind my back?

This is last night's (Aug. 20-21) stats showing leaks. I was awake for the first hour, from 10 to 11, then woke again a few minutes before 1 a.m., before waking again at 4. I guess I need to use the mask liner. Leaks aren't improving that much and mask is on pretty firmly.

Meant to add, I stayed on my right side for the whole six hours, I wedged pillows behind me so I wouldn't turn over.

Do you have a different mask you can try?
You know at this point even a nasal mask with some mouth breathing couldn't be any worse than what is going on right now.

going to try pad a cheek liner tonight with Quattro mask.

If that doesn't work I have nasal Wisp and I'll try a piece of Nexcare tape (vertical) on my lips. I have chin up strips but they don't seem to work for me and chin strap moves too much.

This is last night's (Wednesday p.m.-Thursday a.m.) detail page showing leaks. I had the mask on wiht a pad a cheek liner from 10:15 to 4:00, when my daughter woke up to complain about the high pitches squeaking noise coming from the leaks near my left eye. (We live in a small apartment, both our doors were open last night)

I woke at 12:40 but not sure how long I stayed awake, and again at 3:30
and was still awake at 4, fiddling with straps. You can see on the leak line when I was awake (during large leak time) but I don't think it shows the last half hour, when the leak was actually making noise, as a larger leak. I'm disappointed that it leaked at all with the liner, think I cut too much on one side. Sigh. Back to the drawing board..
