How about if your titration was done on a machine with a hose that was obviously longer than 6 foot. While I didn't measure it, I would guess the hose used during my sleep study would have to have been at least 10 foot. If I'm using a shorter hose than used in the lab does that make my prescription bad?

You can't measure the exact pressure at the end of the tube with analog (non digital) manometer b/c the pressure is dynamic and changes over time. You need to record the pressure over time.

So ArchAngel was wrong to suggest an analog manometer here:

Another thought: I would like a shorter hose (around 3 or 4') to use while traveling.
I find that 6' is considerably more than is fully manageable, but at home I am able to tuck away the excess.
The six-footer is a pain to pack, and tends to pull stuff off the nightstand.
(glasses, hearing aid, watch, cellphone.)
