Mark - is there much difference between my 750 BiPAP Auto that I use and the 760 BiPAP Auto?

I bought my 750 used (two months of hours) for $325. Is it worth the extra $300 and then having to sell my 750?

You have 2 machines if I remember....both 750s???. One you bought and one your DME finally came through with????

Two main differences between the 750 and the 760...

The 760 has a choice for minimum and maximum pressure support range in auto mode..so 2 settings for PS when in auto mode.
The 750 has only one setting choice for PS in Auto mode and that would be the max PS...in auto mode PS will roam about between 2 cm minimum (the default) and whatever max you have it set to.

The 760 has the optional heated hose feature...another $75 on top of the $600.
The 750 doesn't have a heated hose feature available unless one buys a stand alone heated hose.
The machines/humidifiers between the 750 and the 760 are not interchangeable.

So mainly the ability to have PS higher than the 2 cm default for the minimum (nice feature but not worth $300) IMHO
in the 760 and the heated hose thing....otherwise pretty much the same machine.
Oh..I think the 760 probably offers the additional 1 day numbers on the LCD screen instead of just the 7//30 day averages...big whoopie.

Silent mode on the 760 if I remember right...just means no beep when you turn the machine on or off.

IMHO....the minor differences don't justify the additional expense unless you can find someone to pay around $500 to $600 or a little more for your $325 purchased machine. You know you might get it on craigslist.
It's still a low hour use machine and your $325 that you paid was a steal of a deal. It's worth a lot more still yet.

Yours is a wonderful machine. If I was looking to replace my BiPAP auto that I use at night and had my choice between a 750 for $325 that had zero hours and a 760 for $600 with zero hours, I would pick the 750. I do not know of any differences in effectiveness of the treatment offered by the 750 and the 760.

The 760 has of course the option of using it with an integrated heated hose. There are minor differences in firmware. These are comfort items. Resale will be higher on the 760s made this year. So I think you got a great deal.

(I have used a M-Series BiPAP Auto for a few nights to verify it worked ok. I actually liked the way it worked it has a few disadvantages to the 50 series machines. But if a person were to buy one for $200, i doubt they would have problems with the effectiveness of treatment.)

Awesome deal. If I had the money I would be all over it. (But I trust you to keep finding these, so at some point I really WILL be all over it!)

I would like to discount my S9 VPAP Autos by $100. Making it $950 for the machine.
