Wulfman Den, I need cushions for my nasal mask at the rate of one a week, i.e. 52 weeks x $35 = about $2000 (including S&H) a year.

Any wet or heat cleaning screw up these cushions. So instead of cleaning I use new ones.

I use a simple Excel spreadsheet.

I list each item, the replacement frequency allowed by Medicare, the last date I purchased that item, and the next date I can purchase that item again.

At a glance, I can tell what item(s) are available for purchase.
If I do not need to purchase them at that time, I just leave the available purchase date as is so I can tell when I do need a new one that I can purchase it immediately.

I was referring to the statements in this post as being ridiculous.

You're an old poster. Have you ever heard of using the Oracle Mouth Mask for stopping mouth leaks?

Well, I am trying now this Fisher & Paykel Oracle mask (the mouth seals only) with my nasal mask (that you can see in my above post).

Any thoughts?

Is it also ridiculous?

Yes, I've heard of it. Quite a few threads and posts on the forum about them. Never had the inclination to try one......my UMFF keeps my mouth sealed very well. But, if it works for you, great!.
Not ridiculous if it works. Please let us know how it works for you.

One a week? Wow, that is a costly cushion over a year's time.

I'm thankful to be able to use the Tap Pap, and since March, I haven't replaced a thing on it.

I'm confused, so is he trying to make a FF mask by using 2 different masks?

Anything is feasible as long as it works for ONE person--or he thinks it will.

I use that exact same mask & of course that cushion.

I clean my mask & cushion every day & put both in the dishwasher once a week.

My cushions last a full month & that is all I use - even though they will replace them twice a month.
