adjusting pressures on an auto

Post by loonlvr » Mon Feb 14, 2005 5:24 pm

I used a remstart straight pressure machine for 15 months. Just got my new auto with encore software and ultra mirage ff. The pressure was set at 4-20. I was having many mask blow outs(huge leaks which caused the machine to ramp up). My ahi was between 10 and 13 every nite. I even tried my old comfortfull mask which was a little better. So I changed my pressure to 4-13. Amazing difference. My pressure was basically flat with no major leaks. My ahi was 6. When I would wake up during nite I was wondering if machine was even on, Fantastic. Anyone else experience this?

Yup. Had mine set for 6 - 15 and had mask blowout at 14-15. Looked at the graphs and changed to 8.5 - 13.5 and no problems. My AHI went up a bit, but was still under 5....
