Remstar Heated Humidifier Tank Leaking

Post by Newsgrouper » Mon Jun 05, 2006 3:27 pm

It is leaking in the seam where the metal base meets the plastic tank. Anyone else have this problem? Are there any fixes for this?

The heat plate on the bottom of the tank can be easily bent if you don't remove it carefully. It has a rubberized coating on it to help make the seal.

When you reinstall the bottom plate, place the plate on a flat surface like a counter-top. Then press the tank over the plate evenly.

Replacement tanks are cheap (cpap.com has them), buy a spare, they come with extra silicone couplers that go between the machine and the tank.
