Encore 1.6 and My Encore

Does any one have any luck running My Encore with Encore pro 1.6 ???

I've had no problems at all. I have Encore 1.6i and my encore, they run fine together.

IZATIRED--
I am having trouble getting MyEncore to load, I hit the same problem as
Idro had in his thread. My .net 1.1 is not "right". I also have a "hotfix" on
my .net 1.1......whatever that is. I know it is a MS "fix" for some problem they
had, but how it effects my 1.1 I don't know. I am trying to load this on a new
Toshiba with home xp SP2. DUH!!

Have you found your solution yet?

I have 1.6.22 and it installed great. Card reader too.

I am up to the point I have an icon on my screen that says MyEncore, BUT
when I click it:

MyENCORE ERROR
Myencore will close.......

Procedure: Connection open (Connect 0) Strange symbol looks like a zero

ANY suggestions welcome, and yes, I did turn the computer off, then back
on......no change.

Did you get the MYENCORE program to run??

I had problems uninstalling 1.1 netframe from my computer yesterday so a long story short I spent yesterday reformatting my HD. What a pita! !!

Soooo---- I started out from scratch with freshly loaded software no bugs everything working fine. Loaded encorepro then the smart card reader software works great . Loaded vers 2 dotnetframework and tried to load MyENCORE but it said I needed 1.1. Loaded 1.1 net framework and the update for it. Loaded MYEncore and it still didn't run. The error said it couldn't find the source. The sql server was up and running with a green light. I uninstalled the
dotnetframework again and the upgrade . Reinstalled the dotnetframework
1.1 manually from the windows update site without the upgrade package rebooted the computer, installed MYENCORE 1.57b just like before but this time I did not reboot just double clicked the Icon on the desktop and it ran fine. DON'T KNOW what to tell ya.

I have since gone back and tried to duplicate the problem but no matter what I try I can't get it to fail.

I loaded the upgrade for 1.1 and vers 2 is still on my computer and MYENCORE works Great THANKS DEREK FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK.
