ResMed 30-day trial?

Post by oldgearhead » Mon May 29, 2006 8:56 am

I might have been dreaming, but I thought I saw a reference to a 30 day
exchange, or something, from ResMed. Was I dreaming? Is such an offer
available.

I just purchased a UMFF, and even though I carefully measured as directed by the cpap website, it just doesn't quite cover my mouth corners. The one I have is a small regular. I would like to try a medium regular..

I find that this can be true, depends on your DME. I called Repironics to find out that they will change a mask within 4 weeks (to another of theirs). One DME told me 2 weeks and another said it is not possible (even thought the company themselves told me it is)

In the case of Resmed call them and ask them their policy and then take that to whoever you got your mask from.

Good luck and I hope it happens for you. It is so frustrating but perseverance can pay off!

hi--

the other thing on a UMFF is to play around with the 4-notch adjustment thingee in between the forehead and nose piece. that can change the mouth fit significantly. it pushes the forehead piece forward, but it also changes where various parts of the nose/mouth part hit your face. if you need to go far forward in order to get a mouth seal, the forehead piece can rub, but i have ordered karen's forehead pad to try to alleviate that.

good luck either way!
