This is the latest fad in do it yourself. Who needs docs or DMEs!
Now if I can just get those pressures right....
JUST KIDDING! I was trying to come up with a good way to dry my hose and HH. The small airflow from the fan seems to do the trick in an hour or so. Otherwise my hose seems to keep little droplets of water in it for days, no matter how much I sling it or hang it over something to dry out. I didn't want to use the BiPAP to dry it out, it just seems like a waste to put extra hours on it for this.

Yeah, but . . ., and this is important, the number 1 killer of xPAP machines is moisture getting back into the machine from the humidifier, as least judging from the numerous posts where folks have had that happen. Come to think of it, there aren't many posts of xPAP machines dying from anything except moisture.
I performed a quick risk analysis in my head and decided a few blower hours was a good trade-off for keeping moisture out of the machine.

Bill

LOL !
Don't laugh but big things have come from what started as little ideas
I am sure we have several members who could add pressure sensors &
motor controllers - then voila ! - a new product.
thanks

(PS I dry mine by placing it and the hose ends on a dehumidifier we run all the time, in our bathroom. It does my mask to - it blows warm air out the top as it cuts in and out during the day)
xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)
