Radio Frequency nasal surgery.
Radio Frequency nasal surgery.
Someone recently posted that they had had nasal surgery done( I can't seem to find the post it was under a different topic). I asked my ENT Dr. and he said we could do it. I'm curious how you are doing and has it helped with post-nasal drip and breathing? Thanks for any help, I've thinking of another DR consult. but would prefer to hear from someone with the experience. Thanks Wen I hope its a Country station.
Re: Radio Frequency nasal surgery.
I have had the surgery done, but due to the fact that I'm a mouth breather, it didn't hekp much as far as my apnea goes, but I can feel a differance in the amount of air that I can breathe now through my nose.Wen wrote:Someone recently posted that they had had nasal surgery done( I can't seem to find the post it was under a different topic). RF Surgical Techniques
Be sure to interview them about their exact surgical technique... My take is that some of those scalpel-inclined "white coats" just listen to their favorite radio station during surgery---and call that "RF surgery".
Only kidding...

Before you do ANY surgery I suggest looking at the long term outcomes. Personally I have yet to hear of anyone having long term results. You might argue that you would accept short term relief, but you have to realize that 1) all surgeries have their inherent dangers 2) you are physically modifying your body with a method that has not been proven to "cure" the ailment.
I was recently told by my GI doc that one rf procedure used for reflux is getting taken off the market cause it is doing more harm than good. (Stretta procedure)
I am going to wait til they efficacy is higher and has a longer term outcome, and in the meantime I will be a hose head.
