Setting RAMP TIME for new Remstar Auto w/ C-flex

Hi all,

I have the EncorePro software and also know how to enter the manual programming mode of the RemStar Auto w/ Cflex. My questions are:

1) How can I set a ramp time of 45 minutes, I see only "hourly" ramp times and can't figure out how to do shorter duration ramps.

2) How come I can't enter the C-flex mode setting (nor the ramp time) using Encore Pro 1.5 "create a prescription" mode?

as far as i know you can't use the ramp in auto, you have to set it in regular cpap mode to use the ramp, the hourly ramps are for a split night study, dunno how that works, anyways, i do my adjustments without the software, so i can't help you there, sorry.

RedThunder is right. There is no traditional "ramp" available when using the REMstar Auto in either Auto mode (APAP) or auto with C-Flex mode (AFLE). You must set the ramp time for 0:00 when using that machine in either of its auto modes.

Yeah, I think it's kinda' aggravating not to be able to set the C-Flex level through "create prescription" in the software. But we can't. I guess since that's a user comfort feature, they didn't think it was necessary to handle it through the software. Or maybe...they just forgot!
