OUTSTANDING!!! We need to find a publisher, eh? I have a couple more in my head, but need to catch them when then flit by next time. My brain needs to 'defrag', ha ha.It appears this individual unwisely attempted to do something he was not trained for , and actually bent over backwards to help a client!

I am happy for you that you got what you wanted. If you write a book make sure it's a comedy you are very good at it. I guess that I am lucky because after both of my sleep studies my GP said to me what do you want? I ended up getting a Remstar series M with c-flex and heated humidity and a Ultra Mirage full face mask which is exactely what I asked for.

I had a very similar story. I also did a LOT of research. I have been on CPAP therapy for a little over 2 months now. The DME I worked with initially (Med One) were very tight on what equipment to use and not use. They stuck me with this boat anchor Invacare Polaris and their nasal mask. The setup was just "ok" but not great. I have since dumped them, gone with Apria and ordered the new svelt RemStar Plus "M" travel unit with integrated humidifier. Med One wouldn't order one for me so I told them right out they are getting this rental unit back and we are DONE. I also felt very empowered. It pays to know what you are doing (and have a cooperative doctor as well).
