ComfortLite 2 Elbow Removal

Post by Guest » Wed May 17, 2006 6:46 am

To those who have hacked off the elbow of the CL2, any ill effects from doing that? Any reason not to do it? The elbow is the only thing I don't like about the CL2 so I'm about to put a new blade in the hacksaw. Would appreciate your input.

I have and not noticed any problems attributable to that surgery. It was much more comfortable for me.

Per RG's direction be sure to leave a significant portion of the hard plastic part in - you need that to connect the other hose/s.

I would also suggest adding one of the short hoses with a rotating coupling.
The mod + the short hose is an improvement. However, without the short
hose, it's a bit cumbersome.....

Thanks for those responses. I'm sure going to do it and already have the short hose you mentioned.

Guest, I'm in the fog as to what the problem is with the elbow. Assume you mean the top one? I haven't had any 'problems', but that doesn't mean there aren't any...ignorance is bliss, you know! Thanks!
