Hi at present I have PB420e APAP which I bought primarily for its portability.
I want to buy a second/main machine and I am considering a Remstar auto with cflex.
Is this a good choice.
Is the extra cost justified.
Is it reliable.
Does the cflex work with the PB Breeze with nasal pillows (could consider changing to an Aura).
My pressure is 17 so I thought the cflex could help.
Sorry if this is a repeat.

At one time I was going to order the 420E for travel. Before I ordered the machine, I turned my cflex off on my auto(remstar) and I found out that I could not do without it. I could do without an auto but for me I cannot use the machine without CFlex...IMO buy the RemStar auto or wait until the M series comes out

I have both humidifiers and they both do the job. The HC150 is more versatile but the integrated is more compact. The thing I disliked about the intergraded is that it is controlled by the XPAP. If you turn off the XPAP the humidifier is also turned off so that when the XPAP is turned back on the intergraded must also be turned on. The HC150 will stay on until you manually turn it off. That also has its drawback as you may inadvertently leave it on when you would want all equipment off. I solved that problem by utilizing X10 to control all of my equipment. That way everything is on a controller/timer that will shut down everything when I forget to. I now just use the intergraded when I travel.puffing billy wrote:Well this brings me to a second dilema.
We take the Remstar Auto with cflex as the machine.
The Fisher Paykel heated humidifier with its temperature compensation is meant to be really good is it better than the Remstar humidifier. Or does it not matter with a Aussie heated hose.
