Greetings to all... and a technical question.

Post by DaveyH2O » Sun Apr 23, 2006 2:40 am

Hi everyone!

I've been reading this forum for about a month and officially joined late last night.

What a great group of people you are! The info I've found here during my intense
research this past month is invaluable.

When I purchased my equipment from cpap.com 9 days ago, I also ordered Encore Pro v1.6. Last night I purchased a reconditioned DELL C610 laptop on eBay (P3, 1000 MHz/256MB RAM, 20GB HD, Win 2000). I'm downloading MyEncore shortly.

My question to those in the know is: Is 256 MB RAM sufficient to run Encore Pro & MyEncore or do I need to add more memory?

I'm looking forward to interacting with fellow Hosehead Club members and sharing my experiences as I progress in our common adventure.

Thank you all

I can't speak for someone who has ran the program with 256, but I have 512 MB RAM. and it does slow it down. I only keep it running when I am using it, then have to remember to shut it down. I do not profess to be a computer whiz and I am sure someone else will be able to give more information.

DaveyH2O,

Welcome to the forum.

You should be fine with that configuration.
