Good sleep apnea books?

Post by ylikone » Mon Jan 31, 2005 10:24 am

I've been looking at maybe getting a book about sleep apnea to understand my condition better... something like Snoring And Sleep Apnea or Phantom of the Night.
Can anyone recommend a good one?

The Promise of Sleep

Just wanted to let everyone know and back up Rested Gal. This book, The Promise of Sleep is excellent. I had to go get it from the library after she mentioned it. It is a big book but very easy reading and this guy is great at getting his point across!!

A must read!!

Jerry Halberstadt's Phantom of the Night book is quite good about apnea, as is one by Sally Soest and Dr. Ralph Pascually called "Snoring and Sleep Apnea", but that one may be out of print.

I recommend them both and know both Jerry and Sally personally.

Jerry keeps updating his book every couple of years, so if you get it direct you'll get the latest. I know he put together a new edition in 2003.
