Adjusting to mask

Just wondering if anyone else has had this experience. My first mask just broke & I replaced it with an identical one. I went though a horrible adjustment period with my first mask. My skin is VERY sensitive & I had blisters, ulcers, etc where the mask touched mt face. After a period of adjustment, everything was fine. That's why I decided to stay with the same mask, but now I'm finding the same soreness, etc, developing even with the new mask! Do any of you find there is an adjustment period with every new mask even if it's the same one you used before? I was kind of disappointed by this finding.

Latex alergies? Silicone?

I am allergic to latex I know for sure. I also can't wear bandaids, even the plastic ones. I have no idea wht kind of mask to use if I'm sensitive to plastics or the gel. The gel on the Respironics Profile Lite Gel Mask is what is bothering me. I adjusted to it after about three weeks with my initial mask, so I didn't think I'd go through this again with the same identical mask.
