Strange though that the power supply became unstable. This machine seems quite sensitive!
Anything made by man can fail, at anytime.

Since the problem has been resolved, this is for future readers who may be chasing a problem.

At a pressure of 4cm you may not feel or hear a leak but IF it is an auto one would suspect a leak might cause an increase in pressure (depending on machine settings). But we don't know if this is an auto or what the machine settings are. Esp. knowing machine settings is key when chasing problems.

The most effective way to determine leak rates is to check your daily charts & graphs using the software available. Sleepyhead is a good choice and is available FREE.

However, you must either search the web or check the papers that came with the mask for the expected leak rate graph to compare what the software reports. You are looking for a straight (as possible) leak line in the graph of the software.

Having a spare power supply (from another machine) is a very effective way to rule out the power supply as a source of this problem.

Well... I have been too optimistic... exactly the same problem is back
Machine refuses to work properly and I am again awake in the middle of the night... now that is becoming frustrating.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks

You should register and lsit your equipment, maks and pressure.

I had two BiPap machines that did this but they only did it at higher pressures. I do not remember exactly how many times my machine was sent in, but I do recall getting one new machine and two rebuilt machines.

The only thing I can suggest is to get the machine in for repairs. Make sure you send along a copy of your data and make sure they know exactly what has been happening.

Hello again

Last time I posted here, just when I thought the problem was solved it became worse.
After checking everything (and with the guidance of some of you) I came to the conclusion that the power supply was faulty. I managed to get a new one and I am now back to a normal life... what a relief!
Thanks all for your comments. Have a great weekend.
