this is a very nice link, it shows what we can do with CPAP.
Get out there and enjoy life.... now that we are awake for it.

Nice article but not very practical is carrying a 70 # battery when you don't use an outfitter.

Has anyone used a NiMH battery pack that's capable of a couple of nights usage?

Yep, that heavy battery doesn't cut it when you are backpacking or wilderness canoe camping.
I'm hoping that the new BreathX (that is equipped with a lithium-ion battery) will include user battery replacement features and a light-weight battery so that a few extra batteries can be carried to enable nightly therapy for a week.
I have a trip scheduled for early may, and I will need to find that or a PB-420 combined with a few small sealed storage cells (maybe 9 ampere-hours), and hope for the best.
A fully charged 9 ampere-hour battery will run a Respironics Auto-PAP @ 9 cm. for 6 hours. I have to find another machine that won't use so much power!
Life goes on!
