best apap for travel?

Post by SnoreNoMore2005 » Mon Mar 20, 2006 7:51 pm

I know I've seen threads on this subject before but couldn't find them in a search. Does anyone know what would be the best APAP for traveling?

I would like it to be:

- Small
- Lightweight
- very Quiet
- easily portable
- with a humidifier
- able to use software

thanks for your hellp.

Puritan Bennett Goodknight 420E autopap, GoodKnight H2O Heated Humidifier. Software: Silverlining

Resmed S8 Vantage autopap (the EPR feature can be used only in cpap mode), H3i Humidifier. Software - Autoscan

If I'm not mistaken, I think Respironics will delay releasing the heated humidifier for their small "M" series machines at first. Also, I think they'll be releasing only a CPAP at first - no autopap in the M series until later - but I could be wrong.
